Neither a pressure washer nor a foam cannon is included in the listed Hardware Essentials upgrade. Inside, vacuum first, clean compatible surfaces with Premium Interior Cleaner, then apply your selected Interior Protector. Use All-Purpose Cleaner only where additional cleaning is needed and compatibility is confirmed. Finish glass after nearby cleaning or dressing steps, and apply tire shine to clean, dry sidewalls. Quick Detailer is for suitable light touch-ups, not a required step in every full detail.
Can I use The Foundation Kit on a ceramic-coated car, PPF, vinyl wrap, or matte paint?
Compatibility needs to be checked product by product rather than assumed for the entire kit. High Foaming Car Wash is suitable for maintenance washing on ceramic-coated vehicles and vehicles protected with wax or sealant. For PPF, vinyl wraps, and matte or satin finishes, follow the surface manufacturer’s care requirements and confirm each product’s suitability before applying it. Avoid gloss-enhancing waxes or detailers on matte finishes unless explicitly approved. On a ceramic-coated vehicle, also check the coating manufacturer’s guidance before adding Spray Wax, since an additional surface layer may change its appearance or water behaviour.

Quick Detailer is intended for light surface contamination and quick appearance touch-ups, while Premium Spray Wax provides a dedicated protection and gloss step after cleaning. Use Quick Detailer for suitable light dust or fingerprints with a clean microfiber towel, following its label. Use Spray Wax on properly cleaned paint rather than trying to wax over dirt. Neither product replaces washing when the vehicle has grit, mud, or substantial road film. You do not need to apply both every time: choose the product based on whether the surface needs a light touch-up or a fresh wax application.
How many washes can I get from The Foundation Kit, and do the products need dilution?
The included 500 mL High Foaming Car Wash provides approximately five washes when you use 100 mL per wash. For bucket washing, the shampoo’s published starting amount is approximately 100 mL in 20 L of water. Actual consumption varies with your setup and vehicle size. That estimate applies only to the shampoo, not to five complete applications of every product in the kit. Wheel cleaner, interior cleaner, wax, and dressings are consumed at different rates. Follow each bottle’s individual directions, and do not apply the shampoo’s dilution ratio to the other products.
Can I use Premium Interior Cleaner and Interior Protector on every interior surface?
Use Premium Interior Cleaner for cleaning and Interior Protector for finishing, but check each label against the material you are treating. A cleaner and a protector do not necessarily share the same surface compatibility. Test an inconspicuous area first, and apply through a towel where appropriate to control overspray around switches and electronics. Do not assume either product is suitable for touchscreens, suede, Alcantara, or uncoated leather without confirmation. Keep interior protectants off pedals, steering wheels, and other grip surfaces. A clean, evenly treated surface should not require a heavy layer of product.
Will The Foundation Kit remove scratches, swirl marks, or stubborn water spots?
The Foundation Kit is designed for cleaning, protection, and routine appearance maintenance; it is not a paint correction kit. Washing removes surface dirt, while wax and finishing products improve the freshly detailed appearance, but those steps should not be expected to remove defects in the clear coat. Scratches and swirl marks may require polishing, and bonded contamination or etched water spots can need a separate treatment. If marks remain after washing, inspect the clean surface before choosing the next product. Avoid stronger scrubbing or extra pressure, which can introduce further marring.
